Urban Tantra® is a radically updated conscious sexuality/sacred sex practice for modern sexual and spiritual explorers. This intensive workshop is designed especially for, but is not limited to, people who work with sex and sexuality. The Urban Tantra® Professional Training Program will give you the skills to take your practice to the next level, both personally and professionally.

Students are invited into a learning environment that is experiential, trauma-aware, pleasure-positive, and rooted in real-world professional contexts. You’ll be supported not just to learn concepts, but to embody them, practice them, and responsibly integrate them into your existing work or ideas.

Over the course of this training, you will learn:

• To adapt your language to attract and keep a more aligned and inclusive client/student base.
• How to create gender-expansive practices that will allow you to work with people of all genders and sexual expressions.
• Unique Urban Tantric breathing techniques and exercises to empower both you and your client.
• Skills to give your client/student what they want and need without compromising your boundaries, needs, or the integrity of your process.
• How BDSM and kink (including fantasy, roleplay, conscious power exchange, and intense sensation) can expand your Tantra practice into ecstatic new realms.
• How Tantra (including breath, ritual, movement, and conscious touch) can enrich your BDSM practice with deeper meaning.
• The most effective marketing techniques for sexuality professionals to connect with clients, plus effective screening protocols to ensure that only the ideal clients arrive on your doorstep.
• Strategies and support for crafting 1-on-1 sessions and/or hosting group experiences.
• Plus, a curriculum designed to accommodate participants’ individual interests.

Graduates integrate Urban Tantra® into a wide range of professional contexts, including private practice, group facilitation, retreats, education & academics, art & performance, and interdisciplinary healing work.

Whether you are deepening an existing practice or clarifying a new direction, this training supports you in articulating your work with confidence, professionalism, and integrity.

Six 75-minute Virtual Group Sessions 

These virtual gatherings will take place every ~3 weeks. These topical sessions are based on a reading list that you’ll receive once you register for the course. Each book/call will help us develop a shared knowledge base and provide a depth of understanding for the core modules we cover during the 6-day retreat.

A 6-day, 5-night Experiential Retreat 

This experiential residential retreat is designed to deepen your embodied skills and support you in integrating the Urban Tantra practices into your work/projects. Each day we cover a fundamental Urban Tantra skill or practice, beginning with embodied consent, and moving through core modules on breathwork, touch practices, erotic awakening massage, conscious power dynamics, ethics for the sexuality professional, and more. We’ll also provide practical and sustainable business skills tailored to the unique needs of working with sex and sexuality.

At the end of the 6-day immersion, you’ll graduate as a Certified Urban Tantra Practitioner.

Two 60-minute Virtual Integration Sessions 

Community connection and care to support your continued growth and integration. These virtual sessions are a soft place to land as you begin to create, shift, and implement the Urban Tantra tools and teachings into your work, life, and relationships.

Ongoing Connection via Urban Tantra Peer-Support Gatherings

The community support continues with access to graduates’ only events, regular (bi-monthly) Peer Support Calls, marketing and promotion opportunities, and an invitation to join the (soon to be new-and-improved) Urban Tantra Practitioner Directory. We love to support our grads!
