The Urban Tantra® Professional Training Program is much more than a training program. It is a community, a philosophy, and an inclusive sacred sexuality practice that supports both personal and professional goals.
…is a comprehensive training program in the practice and application of conscious sexuality.
…is a program of self love and self discovery that supports you in finding your unique gift, developing your distinctive talents, and following your greatest passions.
…is a process focused on creativity and individuality. You are not instructed to practice conscious sexuality in any one particular way. Rather, you are taught how to invent and continually reinvent your practice as you change and grow, both personally and professionally.
…is a way of transitioning from one type of sexuality practice to another and a way of introducing sexuality into an existing career.
…is fun, exciting, challenging, entertaining, enlightening, life changing.
…can be applied to sex work, sex therapy, any body-based work (such as dance, yoga or massage), art, healing, coaching, entertainment, and all aspects of sexuality in all fields. It will continue to apply as your practice changes and grows over the years.
…is a supportive association of like-mind creative professionals. Mutual support is a foundational principle of our program. When you graduate, you become a member of this community and can offer and ask for support in any and all areas of work and life.
…provides a unique opportunity to network with other professionals from around the world.
…is ever-expanding. We have graduated escorts, pro dommes, tantra masseuses, sex therapists, sex surrogates, dakas and dakinis, medical doctors, yoga teachers and practitioners, social activists, community leaders and erotic artists in 21 countries.
Consent is the cornerstone of conscious sexuality. Consent, as we understand and practice it, is an ongoing agreement which can be modified or withdrawn at any point throughout our work or play.
We promote and practice safer sex. While each individual’s safer sex practices and protocols may vary in private practice, all graduates are trained in and knowledgeable about safer sex. All UTPTP events and workshops follow safer sex protocols.
We value collaboration over competition. We are unique, creative, individuals who choose to use our talents in support of each others’ successes. When one of us prospers, we all prosper.
We acknowledge and give credit to our teachers, collaborators, supporters—all those for whom we have received information and inspiration. We teach what others have taught us with their permission. We respect each others intellectual property.
We value inclusion and accessibility. We welcome people of all genders, sexual orientations and sexual preferences. We seek to find language which encourages people of all abilities and backgrounds to find their place in the sacred sexuality community.
